About Us
The Department of Hometown Security was established to improve hometown security. We began by selling video surveillance equipment and using the proceeds to fund security systems in public schools.
Since our inception, we have also donated equipment to non-profit organizations, and provided loaner equipment for convenience stores and businesses. We have set-up surveillance to document sexual predators preying on children, burglars breaking into cars and other criminal activity. The Department of Hometown Security is not affiliated with law enforcement nor any government agency. Our autonomy enables us to operate freely, impervious to liberalism and unbridled by political correctness.
Being able to see your kids from your office, your business from your home, and now all of it over your smartphone, are some of the ways in which Residential Surveillance has been advancing over the past five years.
Please let us know if you need some help or would like some more information on a particular topic. This site will always be a work in progress. Our goal is to provide a quality site using text, images and video that illustrates the proper installation of security cameras and DVRs.
10% of the proceeds from all sales are contributed directly to public schools in the form of free security equipment. If your school is experiencing after-hours vandalism, or under assault by gang activity, ask if the Department of Hometown Security is on their vendor list.
